SEVENDUST Film 'Ugly' Video
August 30, 2005SEVENDUST are gearing up for the October 11 release of their fifth studio album, "Next", on WineDark Records (distributed by Fontana Distribution, a division of Universal Music and Video Distribution).
The album’s first single, "Ugly", is already exploding at Rock radio after being released August 9. It's currently bulleted on the following charts: #30 on R&R's "Active Rock"; #33 on Billboard's "Active Rock Tracks"; and #33 on Billboard's "Mainstream Rock Tracks."
A video for "Ugly" was shot in Los Angeles, CA on August 28 and 29 with P.R. Brown (BILLY CORGAN, MÖTLEY CRÜE) behind the lens. It's expected to invade TV airwaves by mid-September.
Fans anxious to own new music could log onto iTunes starting August 30, which is when the outlet will offer downloads of "Ugly" and "Pieces" for $.99 each.
Not one to turn down an invitation to help support troops fighting overseas, SEVENDUST recently participated in an extra special event hosted by WAAF-FM in Boston. On August 26, the station broadcasted live from a brand new home built by Homes For Our Troops (www.homesforourtroops.org) for an Iraqi war veteran who recently returned home and is now confined to a wheelchair. The band leant a hand to the construction of the house throughout the day and entertained the 300-plus volunteers with songs old and new at a party later that evening.
SEVENDUST are currently making plans to launch a U.S. tour starting in January. Stay tuned for details.
